ENIC members wanted for online focus group on IC database

01 October 2026

UK ENIC’s International Comparisons (IC) database includes a vast amount of information on international education systems, qualifications and institutions. But how well does the content and format of the information serve members’ needs?

What we are doing
We have recently been looking at how we might be able to make the IC database more accessible and user-friendly.

In particular, we’ve considered streamlining the text sections (‘School’, ‘Higher Education’ etc) and converting key information on those pages to a table format.

However, we would only look to implement these changes if they would improve the user experience. Which is why we need your input.

How often do you refer to the text sections such as ‘School’ and ‘Higher Education’, compared to the more data-orientated ‘Qualifications’ and ‘Institutions’ pages?

Is the information currently provided in the text sections relevant to your needs? And how easy is it to find what you’re looking for?

How you can get involved
We want to give all members the opportunity to address the above questions and help shape the future of the database. You are therefore invited to participate in an online focus group to be held later in the autumn.

No particular expertise is required. You just need some experience of our database and a willingness to share your opinions.

If you think you might like to get involved, please register your interest by the end of Friday 16 October 2026.

We’ll then be in touch shortly with further details, including a date and time for the focus group.
