First-look at the UKENIC26 programme
A first-look at the programme for UKENIC26 is now available.
Our team has planned a packed two days of topical discussions, panels, workshops and presentations from experts across the sector, focusing on our theme of ‘Navigating change: shared challenges, collective solutions’.
To kick off conversations in London, The Data Panel will bring together sector experts to take a look at the data from their day-to-day work, what they’re seeing, what the sector needs to be aware of and where they think international education is heading.
Our popular Fraud Panel will be returning to explore the latest developments, share practical responses, lessons learnt from the frontline and the latest insights into fraud trends.
Elsewhere, ‘What does the IES mean for international students’ brings together a panel of international students to share their perspectives on studying and living in the UK, exploring the opportunities, challenges and expectations that shape their educational journey.
Other panel sessions taking place during the conference include:
- The Student Voice Panel
- Beyond the Big Four: what’s next for international student mobility?
- Education under emergencies: supporting access, resilience and recovery
- So you want to get a degree. Now what?
Transnational education discussions will also be a big focus at this year’s event including ‘TNE without borders, not without equity’ and ‘Making it count: recognition and TNE’, as well as ‘Not my problem? Collaboration from set-up to closure in TNE partnerships’.
UK ENIC sessions will include ‘The UK ENIC Quiz: a year in numbers’ and ‘The rest is recognition…insights from the UK ENIC team.’
Meanwhile, country-specific sessions on English-speaking Africa, as well as the Middle East and North Africa, will bring together UK ENIC expertise with that of organisations including the British Council and AfaraEd.
There will also be a number of sponsor-led sessions including:
- AI and the international student journey: what higher education needs to understand now (delivered by TOEFL)
- How secure is your English test? Understanding threats, the layered response and the practical role of recognising organisations (delivered by IELTS)
- Beyond trust: finding the evidence behind English language tests (delivered by Cambridge)
- AI in action: a responsible playbook for international admission (delivered by Acumen, part of Sannam S4 Group)
ERASMUS+, admissions, the Global Recognition Convention, BCA metrics and staff wellbeing are amongst the other topics that will be explored throughout the conference.
Delegates will be able to book onto their chosen sessions via the Cvent app shortly and full timings will be available soon.
