A snapshot of recent UK ENIC meetings

30 September 2025

It has been a busy few weeks for UK ENIC’s Policy and Engagement team.

Zara Green, Deputy Head of Policy and Engagement, was recently invited to speak at the Federation of Awarding Bodies International Forum, and the NHS England Skills for Life meeting, to provide UK ENIC updates and to promote the upcoming UKENIC25 conference.

In addition, colleagues met the Scottish Refugee Council to discuss UK ENIC’s ongoing work with refugees and refugee charities, as well as our previous involvement with the European Qualification Passport for Refugees.

And Chris Lyons, Head of Policy and Engagement, was invited to attend the British Council TNE Strategy workshop, providing UK ENIC input into the development of the document, along with cross-sector colleagues from UUKi, QAA, AdvanceHE, OfS, AOC and others.

UK ENIC’s involvement in the UNESCO Global Convention working groups for the interim working programme for 2025 to 2027 has also been confirmed. Further details in the next newsletter.
