MES: empowering members to self-serve for day-to-day enquiries
Our Member Enquiry Service (MES) continues to be a vital source of support for complex questions about qualifications and institutions.
However, did you know that many day-to-day enquiries can be resolved quickly using the powerful tools already available within UK ENIC’s online database?
With this in mind, we want to empower users to self-serve where possible, as our database provides instant access to the same reliable information that members would otherwise receive from our enquiry service and enables faster decision-making for institutions.
Looking ahead, we will take a more solutions-focused approach to answering member enquiries that promotes learning and upskilling, by providing users with clear guidance about how day-to-day enquiries can be resolved using UK ENIC’s online database.
This approach helps users build confidence when using the powerful tools available as part of their membership, avoids repeat queries and makes better use of our search capabilities and research features.
It also preserves a member’s enquiry allowance for more complex requests, which will continue to be answered by our specialist Member Enquiries Service team.
There is a host of user guides in the member portal that will help users get the most out of their membership including information on UK ENIC, how to use the International Comparisons database and International Grade Comparisons tools, as well as the Member Enquiry Service.
Keep an eye on upcoming Training and Events sessions for further upskilling opportunities.
