Ask the experts - distance learning
In the latest edition of our ‘Ask the experts’ feature, our Research, Data and Insights team is answering another popular question that members ask us.
This month, UK ENIC’s Research Manager Emma Kirby provides the answer to this question: Do you assess qualifications achieved via distance learning?
UK ENIC typically assesses any qualification that constitutes a national award in-country. We would therefore provide assessment so long as the institution and/or qualification are recognised in the country of award.

As DEAC is recognised by the US Department of Education, we would assess qualifications awarded by DEAC-accredited institutions.
