UK degrees - does the status of the delivery provider matter?

UK degree-awarding bodies sometimes subcontract part or all of a programme to another institution. The latter may then be referred to as the ‘delivery provider’ or ‘listed body’.
In this scenario, the degree-awarding body retains overall responsibility for the programme, including quality assurance, and would confer the final certificate.
There is no exhaustive list of delivery providers that partner with degree-awarding bodies.
However, the status of the delivery provider doesn’t affect the status of the final award. Any degree issued by an institution that holds UK degree-awarding powers may be considered a recognised UK degree.
