Credit Comparison Information on UK ENIC Statements
Statements of Comparability can now include information on credit earned in cases of:
- Incomplete qualifications
- Partially documented qualifications
- Some kinds of short courses, including some micro-credentials.
Academic credit systems differ greatly between countries and between institutions. UK ENIC’s credit comparison methodology enables many forms of prior learning to be measured and compared to the UK educational system.
Credit comparison information included in our statements translates global credit volumes into UK ENIC credits, where 360 credits represent one academic year of full-time study.
UK ENIC credit comparisons are for guidance only. Eligibility for credit transfer and entry to programmes of study based on this advice remains at the discretion of admitting institutions.
For further information, see our webpage on credit comparison methodology and the uses of credit comparisons.
